Sounds right.....too risky for me without proper photos of the alleged restoration.

Otherwise, an expensive way to buy bodyfiller.....probably.

Hi!

I'm based in the middle of France, and am searching for a ZA Magnette, if anyone knows of a good one for sale.

Even an unfinished project would be interesting, as long as it's either on the European mainland, or trailerable from Poole or Southampton, Dover or Newhaven, ie Southern counties.

I've just been explaining about "restoration" to the seller (who is selling on behalf of) after seeing a car advertised, a 1955 ZA, in LHD, in Portugal.Apparently it was repainted white so it could be hired out, presumably for weddings, till it "went up in value...."

Here are some pix of the car.....bear in mind it's for sale for over £10,000

What's it 'worth?'(....given we are probably approaching the upper reaches of this latest classic car bubble?)
