TOPIC: hello from dorset

hello from dorset 12 years 6 months ago #217

On an associated subject I have recently acquired XLJ326 a two tone grey varitone, chassis no 34401.This car was first registered in Dorset in 1958 and has very old MGOC stickers in the rear window.Does anybody know anything about this car.I have replaced floors/sills and about to start on bodywork, which isn't that bad.73000 miles on the clock and sound original engine,so I guess that must be correct.

WRU 45 is in our database (which contains more cars than shown on the gallery) and I sent you an PM.

just to say hello - been looking for my dads old MG Magnette, WRU 45, and guess what, i found a picture of it in the gallery section tonight - he's 79 now and owned it from 1960 to 1962 - being a panel beater all his life he used to get thru a few cars, but the old stories always revert back to the MG PB, the Magnette and the Inca yellow Dolomite Sprint :cheer: i'm currently looking for info on the PB too, the Dolly died a death in 1985 apparently :(

if anyone knows of any info on the car, current owner (as the dvla says its still out there) would they kindly get in touch via a pm on this forum

thanks in advance

Graeme :)
