Hi Gunter, She is nearly ready, though the paintwork is not as smart as I would like - sort of 50 shades of Twilight Grey! I have managed to double-patch a bad rust hole in the RH rear wheel arch that I am quite pleased with though.

I guess some more than the few people who answerd vwill visit Magnette60. I hear from different parts of the country that people are preparing their cars for the long trip to Warwickshire and Scotand afterwards.
I also did a service to my car:
Rear tyres were at limit (1,6mm) - bought new. And it's getting more difficult from year to year to get 165 R 15 tyres. now got Hancock to replace my Firestone F560.
Secondly the brake shoes were replaced. Same as the pipes to the heater. These looked so old and in fact could be broken. Maybe these were the original ones. better to replace in a garage instaed on the way.
