There's a report on the recent Magnettes & Steam event, at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. Also please note that early bird ticket discounts for MG Fest North (the main MGCC event this year, 6-7th Sept) are only available till 30th April

The events list has been updated to include the MGOC 'MGs in the Park' Cotswolds event in June, and our July visit to Bridge Classics in Suffolk. UK Magnette owners could also join in one of the many local events being organised for Drive it Day (Sunday 27 April) 

2nd February 2025

The events list has been updated to include the MGCC MGFest North weekend at Croft Circuit. Also in the north, Tyne Tees Centre have a full events programme and Magnette owner David Alexander particularly highlights their Cobweb Run (27th April)

As snow doesn't fall very often in south-east England, I asked AI to produce an image of my Magnette in the snow. Since I'm not an expert with the tools it's not too bad, although AI has tried to remove the door handles ! It would be interesting to know (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if anyone has better Magnette pictures created using AI, or perhaps real snow pictures ! Roger Martin has contributed a useful note on bonnet catch adjustment, which may be required after rebuilding. Also don't forget that marketplace bulletins by Roger England are updated regularly (usually every 2 weeks) and provide an excellent summary of cars sold and for sale if you're either looking to buy or interested in the current market

The Register programme for 2025 should be available soon, and the first event will be Magnettes & Steam at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, on Saturday 19 April
